Your house needs to sell. You don't want to spend a fortune making it happen.

That's exactly where I come in.

You've lived in this home. You know every corner of it, every piece of furniture with a story, every room that never quite came together the way you hoped. And now someone's coming to take photos of it in two weeks and you need it to look like somewhere a buyer falls in love with at first scroll.

You don't need to buy new furniture. You don't need to repaint every wall or rent a storage unit for everything you own. What you need is a fresh set of eyes that knows exactly what buyers respond to, and hands that will roll up their sleeves and make it happen.

That's what I do.

Here's what one client said after her staging day:

"I only bought some plants and new pillows. Laurel worked with what I had, moved things from room to room, opened drawers and cupboards to find treasures I'd forgotten I owned. She made my home look tidy, stylish, warm and inviting. The realtors were very impressed with the results."

…and she had photos ready on time, stress levels down, and an offer on the table.

How it works

How it works *

Step 1: The Staging Consult, $350

We start here. I come to your home for two hours, walk every room with you, assess what's working and what isn't, find the pieces hiding in plain sight that are going to do the heavy lifting, and give you a clear picture of exactly what needs to happen before photos. You leave the consult knowing the plan, whether you implement it yourself or bring me back for the full day.

Step 2: The Full Staging Day, $900

This is where it all comes together. I'm on-site for a focused five to six hour day, moving, rearranging, editing, and styling your space so it photographs beautifully and feels like somewhere a buyer immediately wants to live. I work with what you already have first, and if we need a few key pieces to pull a room together, I know where to find them without blowing your budget.

If you've already done the consult, your $350 rolls straight into the full day. You pay $550 on the day, $900 total.

This is for you if:

You're preparing to list and want the space to look its absolute best without a major renovation budget.

You feel emotionally attached to the home and want someone who'll handle it with care, not strip it of everything that made it yours.

You've been told to "get it staged" and have no idea where to start.

You want results, not a lengthy decorating project.

What you can expect

Calm. That's the thing clients mention most. You're already managing the paperwork, the timelines, the emotions of leaving a home you've loved. You don't need someone adding to the chaos. I assess quickly, work efficiently, and keep you on track without making you feel like your home is being taken apart.

I work with what you have first, always. I open drawers, look in cupboards, move pieces from room to room until the space starts telling its own story. Most of what we need is already there, it just needs to be seen differently.

about Laurel

Hello!

I've spent 20 plus years working in spaces, as a wardrobe stylist on film sets where I had one day to make a director's vision real, as a Feng Shui consultant, as an interior stylist. What that career taught me is how to walk into a space, understand what it needs, and make it happen, fast, with what's there.

I bring that same eye to your home. Same hands, same methodology, same commitment to making it feel genuinely beautiful before the photographer arrives.

Based in Nelson, BC. Taking staging bookings now through realtor referral and direct inquiry.
